The Iowa Taxpayers Association will hold its 71st Annual Meeting & Tax Symposium next Monday & Tuesday (12/4/06 - 12/05/06), at the Hotel Fort Des Moines in
Members of the media are invited to cover presentations made by the speakers listed on the Schedule of Events
Governor-Elect Chet Culver will serve as the Annual Meeting Keynote Speaker at 12:15 on Tuesday (12/5/06). Immediately following the Governor-Elect's Speech, will be Clayton M. Jones, Chairman, President, and CEO, Rockwell Collins.
The ITA Legislative Panel moderated by the Des Moines Register's David Yepsen, is an annual favorite. The following Iowa House and Senate Leaders will provide annual meeting attendees with insights on business tax issues facing the Legislature in the coming year at 10:45 a.m. - Noon in the Grand Ballroom at the Hotel Fort Des Moines.
