Federal Tax Reform: The Impact on States

The President of the United States and the Majority party in The United States Congress are are attempting to roll back several of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act changes. Normally ITA does not closely follow federal legislation. However, we do plan to follow any possible changes that may increase the tax burden on businesses under the Biden Administration. Some of the proposals could drastically change business  tax liability.
 
ITA is being proactive by establishing a Federal Tax Reform Task Force to stay up to date on federal tax reform and prepare for its impact in Iowa. The task force will also provide a forum to keep ITA members informed.
